How to Jelqing

Does Jelqing Work?
Now the question arises: Does jelqing really work?
The basic principle of jelqing is that it increases blood flow to the glans. This process stretches the tissues inside the penis and the skin outside, which some believe increases its size.
Jelqing proponents say that it causes microscopic tears in the penis tissue, similar to those that occur in muscles during weightlifting. When these tears heal, the muscles become stronger and slightly larger. Applying this same logic, it is said that jelqing will do the same.
But the problem is that the muscles of the penis are different from the muscles of the body. When you work out at the gym, you work skeletal muscles like your biceps or thighs. However, the muscles inside the penis are smooth muscles, which primarily control blood flow and erections. These muscles don’t respond like gym muscles.
One area where some benefits have been seen is Peyronie’s disease. This is a condition in which scar tissue forms inside the penis, making erections crooked or painful. In such cases, certain stretching exercises can reduce the curvature of the penis and sometimes even slightly increase the length.
But if someone doesn’t have Peyronie’s disease, there’s no clear scientific evidence that jelqing will work for them.

Jelqing Exercise Side Effects
Now let’s talk about the side effects of it.
Because this exercise involves stretching and pulling the penis, it can damage the skin and underlying tissues. It’s not a safe or doctor-approved practice, so the risks are high.
The most common problems from it are penis pain and skin irritation. This is caused by the repeated pressure on the blood vessels and skin.
If a man continues to it for a long time, scar tissue or hardened deposits, medically known as plaques, can form inside the penis. These scars can later lead to Peyronie’s disease, which causes the penis to become curved and painful.
Some men who have tried this method have experienced erectile dysfunction, i.e., difficulty maintaining an erection. This clearly indicates that it is not a safe method, and it is best avoided without medical advice.
